I hadn't had a chance to download the last episode until my friend Nathan Hale from linuxmusicians.com told me that they had been discussing an e-mail that I wrote to them about my website. I wrote them to ask about open source contribution and mentioned that I made my website with The Gimp and KATE which are both open source software. I should be able to start recording soon. I was planning on starting about 7 months ago, but sometimes things don't go the way that we plan them to. But it's all good. I think the cd is good and hopefully everyone will be able to enjoy it and relate to the music. I was planning to have them done by the end of this month, so perhaps I will have them done by then. But I'm waiting until I've purchased the new equipment to start recording. I am going with just a vocal and instrument track as on most of my previous cds. I can't wait to get the new songs posted! God bless, -Matt 07/05/2008 Right now I'm getting shows booked for later this year in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and possibly more states. I can't wait to start playing again and I plan to give all of my new music for free on CDs and I always have songs for download on my website. I'm also planning to buy some new equipment. I have been playing shows with the same guitar and keyboard since 2005 and I think it's time to upgrade. That's all the new stuff I have going right now. -Matt 04/16/2008 I am getting ready to start recording my new CD. I don't have a name for it just yet. But I will start recording in just a few days. I am very excited. I'm going to be trying some new instruments on this CD so it should have a different sound than all of my other recordings. I added pictures to my page about a week ago and I'm excited about getting my CD done and starting to play shows again. -Matt 01/29/2008 Viewing the website, if you have any problem viewing the page you may need to upgrade your web browser. I've tested the site for Mozilla, Seamonkey, Opera, Firefox, Konqueror, Epiphany, Netscape, Internet Explorer 7, Safari and Flock. Everything seems to be working just fine. Although older versions of Internet Explorer aren't able to display the page properly. If you have any prolem with viewing the pictures on the photo page you may need to update Java aswell. I will have the CD available at my shows for sale and online also! 01/27/2008 New music will be available soon. I'm in the process of writing now and will soon be recording.
